Julie was raised in Texas but born in the High Desert of California. She has been a veterinary technician for 17 years and has worked under some of the best in the field. She graduated from Weatherford College with her Applied Sciences degree in Veterinary Technology, Equine Production and Management, a Certified Compassion Fatigue Professional and pursuing her Certified Veterinary Practice Manager degree. She has worked with both large and small animals in mixed practices, having a special interest in surgical medicine. In her spare time she likes to do anything outdoors including horseback riding, time on or around bodies of water, attending concerts and traveling because, quote, ” I suffer from the wanderlust disease”. Owned by 2 Blue Heelers and a Belgian Malinois, bossed around by a couple of cats one of which she adopted from the clinic and loved on by her horse friends.
